How it all started...

Hi, my name is Pieter. As a former pro-athlete I know the feeling of juggling all the balls to keep chasing your ambitions.  I worked my ass off in the gym, tried to keep up with a full schedule filled with appointments and was often lacking energy. When I broke down and was overtrained I wanted to feel strong and fit again.

At first I disliked a training program with little to no variation in exercises, even though I knew this was the way to progress.

When I analyzed all the known training protocols and training methods, I found out it isn't hard to use variation in exercises while still ensuring progress. By constantly improving as a trainer I connected with Red Bull Netherlands and their athletes. And this is when the Motorsport Training Program was born.

Then a new problem came up....


How can I provide a quality training program while drivers are traveling a lot, and how can I make sure they'll keep progressing throughout the season!?

That's where Thom Lalkens came in, with a clever designed periodization model we can guarantee that, if a driver follows our Motorsport Training Program, he/she will be strong throughout the race season and they'll even be stronger than before the start of the season.
