Maverick Performance Intelligence

Driver readiness should be an index, not an opinion.

The Driver Readiness Index brings four performance domains into one structured view, without hiding the individual signals that explain the result.

The problem

A fresh athlete can still be an unready driver.

Most testing isolates one quality in a controlled state. Racing combines physical force, cognitive load, heat, travel, recovery and consequence. The index exists to make those systems visible together.

It does not predict a race result. It does not replace coaching judgement. It gives that judgement a more disciplined foundation.

The four domains

One driver. Four views of readiness.

The summary creates orientation. The components preserve the reason behind it.

01

CNS

Is the system ready to produce?

We examine the driver’s central state and recovery context to understand whether the system is ready for meaningful load. One signal never makes the decision alone.

State · recovery · trend
02

Brain Endurance

Does cognitive quality survive fatigue?

Using structured cognitive tasks, including work delivered through Soma NPT, we examine reaction time, accuracy, variability and the way performance changes across load.

Speed · accuracy · variability · decay
03

Neck and Force

Can force remain available in the car?

Directional neck force, asymmetry, control and repeatability are considered alongside the physical demands of the specific vehicle and racing category.

Direction · force · symmetry · repeatability
04

Sensorimotor

Can perception still become precise action?

We examine the speed and consistency with which visual information becomes a controlled motor response, without pretending one test can reproduce the complete act of driving.

From test to decision

Data earns its place when it changes the programme.

01

Profile the demand

Car, series, circuit, stint, travel and development stage determine what readiness must support.

02

Establish the baseline

We record the component signals and the conditions in which they were produced.

03

Expose performance decay

Where appropriate, repeated or combined load reveals what disappears before the peak number does.

04

Intervene

The programme targets the constraint while protecting the capacities that are already doing their job.

05

Re-test

We ask whether the driver changed, whether the change survived load, and whether it matters in context.

The boundary matters

What the index refuses to pretend.

  • It is not a medical diagnosis.Medical concerns belong with qualified healthcare professionals.
  • It is not one magic score.A summary never replaces the component data or its context.
  • It does not confuse technology with truth.A device is useful only when its reliability, limits and decision value are understood.
  • It does not predict talent.Readiness is one part of performance, alongside skill, engineering, opportunity and execution.

Stop asking whether the driver looks ready.

Bring us the car, calendar and performance question. We will determine what should be measured and what the result needs to change.
